Primary responsibilities include:
Design, develop and document automated acceptance test equipment required for new and existing electronic products and assist with transition of this equipment to Production Test EngineeringDevelop a set of testing requirements based on engineering design documentation and hardwareDevelop functional test stations utilizing state of the art PXI, LAN, USB in a context of automated parametric measurements, while maintaining a modular, flexible and scalable design approachAssist in determining measurement techniques, identifying and procuring instrumentation, and implementation of test systems to perform requirements verificationInterface with product development teams to determine appropriate test strategy and coverage for functional requirementsGrow in electrical engineering expertise as opportunities in analog and digital circuits, cable design, debugging of electrical assemblies are presentedAuthor process, test and calibration proceduresProduce clear, understandable documentation geared for all audiences
Qualifications
Qualifications
B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 2 years experience developing instrument driven test equipmentExperience programming with LabView or PythonExperience in problem isolation with demonstrable troubleshooting skillsMust have strong written and verbal communications skills and be able to work in a team-oriented environmentAn existing U.S. Security Clearance is desired. The ability to obtain one is required
