None/Not RequiredAs the Supply Chain Liaison for targeted programs, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Collins Aerospaces product development and deployment strategies. This position is a key interface between targeted programs and the Supply Chain organization, responsible for setting strategies that drive success across the supply base and potential contract manufacturers. You’ll oversee complex supply chain engineering programs from initial concept through to deployment, ensuring product improvements and cost management while maintaining the highest standards of quality and producibility. By utilizing the Product Focused Improvement (PFI) process and collaborating with key stakeholders, you will be instrumental in developing supply chain strategies, mitigating risks, and ensuring all materials are sourced at competitive costs to meet program objectives.
Your decisions will directly impact the success of major redesigns and supplier relationships, allowing Collins Aerospace to remain at the forefront of industry innovations. What YOU Will Do:
- Ensure all intellectual property is protected via standard Collins Aerospace processes when partnering with supply base
- Manages complex supply chain engineering programs from concept to successful deployment for the life cycle of the product
- Utilizing the Product Focused Improvement (PFI) process, for continuous product improvement with a focus on cost management, quality, inventory and producibility improvements
- Support GMRE initiatives identified in the SSRB process
- Drive preferred parts in all new and major redesigns
- Develop and build tools to simulate the effect of operational/strategic decision making
- Leverage the Central Material & Supply organization in support of Mission Systems Sourcing initiatives
- Ensure that the correct technology selection for the life-cycle of the product being produced on the program is accomplished
- Develop and implement successful supplier risk mitigation plans to avoid risks that can have a major impact on overall program cost and schedule
- Meet material cost target objectives of the program Bill of Material (BOM) by developing supply chain strategies that align with and enable robust solutions at competitive cost
- Accountable for PFI project plan and responsible for all reporting
Qualifications / Experience Needed:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP and or Ariba experience is a plus
Supply Chain Experience (sourcing, commodity management or procurement) – 5 years preferred
Previous experience w/ reading and interpreting technical drawing packages for quoting purposes
Previous experience supporting government contracts is a plus

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
